• *Senior SDET / Test Automation Engineer (7\+ Years)****Experience:** 7\+ years**About the Role:** We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, build, and scale our UI test automation framework. You will work hands\-on with a modern Java \+ Playwright \+ Cucumber BDD stack, driving quality across web applications through robust, parallel\-executing, evidence\-rich automated tests. This is a senior, hands\-on role — you'll own framework architecture, mentor others, and set automation standards, not just write test scripts.**JD –**7\+ years in software test automation / SDET roles, with a strong programming foundationMust have – Expert\-level **Java** (Java 17\)Must have – Strong hands\-on experience with a modern browser automation tool — **Playwright**Must have – Strong hands\-on experience with **BDD/Cucumber** and Gherkin, including step definitions and hooksStrong hands\-on experience in **developing test automation framework**Solid command of the **Page Object Model** and other automation design patternsHands\-on Experience with **JUnit 5 / TestNG**, including parallel execution and thread\-safety concernsProficiency with **Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD tools** (**Jenkins**)Strong grounding in core testing concepts — test design techniques, test strategy, test pyramid, defect lifecycle, and risk\-based testingSolid UI/web testing experience, including cross\-browser testing and handling dynamic, asynchronous web applicationsStrong experience in establishing automation standards, code reviews, and best practices, mentor junior SDETs.Strong debugging skills for flaky tests, dynamic web apps, and complex locator strategiesExperience building reporting/evidence solutions (**ExtentReports**, Allure, or similar)
