Senior Web Developer

We are looking for a skilled and detail\-oriented **Website Developer** to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, a good design sense, and the ability to work closely with our SEO team to build and optimize high\-performing websites.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• Implement on\-page SEO recommendations (title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, etc.).
• Build custom WordPress pages using Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
• Ensure websites are mobile\-friendly, secure, and properly indexed.
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues (broken links, redirects, indexing errors, etc.).
• Add schema markup (manual or via plugins) and structured data as needed.
• Create and manage staging environments for testing and QA.
• Maintain plugin updates, backups, and WordPress core upgrades without breaking sites.
• Assist in designing landing pages optimized for conversions.
• Collaborate with SEO team to execute audits, changes, and experiments.
• Follow design standards, accessibility, and usability guidelines.
• Regularly update plugins, themes, and ensure website security
• Work with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to improve development efficiency

• *Required Skills \& Experience:**

• 3–5 years of hands\-on WordPress development experience
• Proficiency in **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP**
• Experience with page builders like **Elementor**, **Divi**, or **Gutenberg**
• Familiarity with **SEO basics** and how they apply to web development
• Knowledge of **Google Search Console**, **Site Speed Tools** (PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix), and **Schema implementation**
• Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts, errors, and performance issues
• Basic understanding of **conversion rate optimization (CRO)** and **UI/UX best practices**
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to clean, well\-documented code
• Good communication and ability to work remotely and independently
