Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled **ServiceNow UI Builder Playbook Developer** with 4\+ years of hands\-on experience in ServiceNow application development, UI Builder, and Playbook development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing modern, intuitive, and scalable user experiences using **ServiceNow UI Builder**, creating reusable UI components, configuring Playbooks, and integrating them seamlessly with ServiceNow workflows and platform capabilities.

The successful candidate should possess strong expertise in **Now Experience Framework**, ServiceNow platform customization, UI/UX best practices, and integration with backend workflows to deliver enterprise\-grade ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain **ServiceNow UI Builder Playbooks** for enterprise applications.
  • Develop modern, responsive, and user\-friendly interfaces using **ServiceNow UI Builder** and **Now Experience Framework**.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable UI solutions.
  • Build reusable UI components, custom pages, templates, and widgets to ensure consistency across ServiceNow applications.
  • Configure and customize **Playbooks** to improve user productivity and business process automation.
  • Integrate UI Builder applications with:
  • Flow Designer
  • Business Rules
  • Script Includes
  • REST APIs
  • IntegrationHub
  • Service Catalog
  • Record Producers
  • Develop client\-side logic using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
  • Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Optimize UI Builder applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot UI rendering, client scripting, Playbook configurations, and platform\-related issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, design documents, and user manuals.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
  • Stay current with new ServiceNow releases, Now Experience enhancements, and UI Builder capabilities.

Required Skills

  • 4\+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Hands\-on experience with **ServiceNow UI Builder**.
  • Strong experience developing **ServiceNow Playbooks**.
  • Good understanding of **Now Experience Framework**.
  • Experience customizing ServiceNow applications using UI Builder.

Responsibilities Beyond Development

  • Collaborate with solution architects and business teams during solution design.

  • Provide production support and resolve UI\-related issues.
  • Recommend improvements to existing UI components and Playbooks.
  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
  • Ensure platform governance, coding standards, and development quality.
