• *Job Overview**

We are looking for an experienced **ServiceNow SOMT Solution Architect** with strong expertise in Telecom Service Management, telecom order management, and end\-to\-end service fulfillment architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience designing scalable ServiceNow solutions for telecom and fiber services, including Quote\-to\-Order, Order\-to\-Fulfillment, provisioning, billing, and MACD (Move, Add, Change, Disconnect) lifecycle processes.

The candidate should also have practical experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), enterprise integrations, and solution architecture, with the ability to align standard ServiceNow capabilities with complex telecom business requirements while minimizing unnecessary customization.

• *Key Responsibilities1\. ServiceNow SOMT \& Telecom Architecture**

• Design end\-to\-end ServiceNow SOMT architecture for telecom and fiber service providers.
• Architect Quote\-to\-Order, Order\-to\-Fulfillment, provisioning, billing, and service closure workflows.
• Design and optimize New Order and MACD lifecycle processes.
• Define relationships between Product, Service, and Resource entities throughout the telecom service lifecycle.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable telecom order orchestration and fulfillment patterns.
• Design service lifecycle management processes aligned with telecom business requirements.
• Define integration approaches with CRM, CPQ, billing, inventory, network/OSS, BSS, and ERP platforms.

• *2\. ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)**

• Design solutions leveraging ServiceNow SPM and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) capabilities to support telecom implementation and delivery initiatives.
• Configure and design project management processes involving Project Charters, Projects, Project Tasks, Dependencies, Milestones, planned versus actual dates, and project status tracking.
• Leverage SPM Epics and related capabilities to manage business initiatives and delivery requirements.
• Align SOMT order and service lifecycle processes with SPM project and delivery management workflows.
• Define clear functional boundaries between standard SOMT capabilities, SPM functionality, and custom extensions.
• Recommend out\-of\-the\-box ServiceNow capabilities wherever possible to minimize customization and reduce long\-term maintenance.

• *3\. Solution Architecture \& Enterprise Integration**

• Develop end\-to\-end solution architecture, functional architecture, technical designs, and integration specifications.
• Define data flows and integration patterns across SOMT, SPM, CRM, CPQ, billing, OSS/BSS, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Evaluate business requirements against standard ServiceNow capabilities and identify functional or technical gaps.
• Recommend appropriate solutions using configuration, integration, or custom development based on business needs.
• Ensure architecture aligns with ServiceNow best practices, scalability, security, performance, and maintainability requirements.
• Establish reusable architectural standards, design principles, and integration patterns.

• *4\. Stakeholder Management \& Solutioning**

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, product owners, and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions, requirement workshops, solution reviews, and technical presentations.
• Provide solutioning and presales support, including effort estimation, solution proposals, and architectural recommendations.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
• Support development teams during implementation and ensure solutions remain aligned with the approved architecture.

• *Required Skills \& Experience**

• Minimum **9\+ years of overall IT experience**, preferably in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical architecture roles.
• Strong hands\-on expertise in ServiceNow, particularly SOMT and Telecom Service Management.
• Proven experience architecting telecom or fiber service solutions covering Quote\-to\-Order, Order\-to\-Cash, and Order\-to\-Fulfillment processes.
• Strong understanding of New Order and MACD lifecycle management.
• Experience with telecom product, service, and resource lifecycle management.
• Practical experience with ServiceNow SPM/PPM, including Projects, Project Tasks, Dependencies, Milestones, Epics, and portfolio/project tracking.
• Ability to determine when to use standard ServiceNow SOMT/SPM functionality versus custom development.
• Strong experience designing enterprise integrations and end\-to\-end solution architectures.
• Understanding of telecom OSS/BSS ecosystems and integrations with CRM, CPQ, billing, inventory, and ERP platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven solutioning and presales experience, including architecture presentations and technical recommendations.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience in telecom service providers, fiber broadband, telecommunications infrastructure, or network service delivery.
• Experience with complex, multi\-system telecom order orchestration and fulfillment implementations.
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications in architecture, application development, telecom service management, or SPM.
• Experience working in distributed teams and delivering projects in remote engagement models.

• *Ideal Candidate Profile**

The ideal candidate is an architect\-level professional who combines deep ServiceNow SOMT and telecom domain expertise with practical SPM knowledge. The candidate should be capable of independently owning solution architecture, guiding technical implementation, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering scalable telecom service lifecycle solutions within a six\-month contract engagement.
