ServiceNow (SPM) Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Developer to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise\-grade SPM solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands\-on experience in ServiceNow development, platform customization, workflows, integrations, and SPM modules.

In this role, you will work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and key stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high\-quality solutions that drive portfolio visibility and business value.

What You Will Do

Development \& Configuration: Configure, customize, and develop ServiceNow SPM applications across Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, Strategic Planning, Agile Development, and Investment Funding modules.

Technical Design: Translate business requirements into technical designs, workflows, and robust platform configurations.

Scripting \& Automation: Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer flows, and reusable components.

Enterprise Integrations: Build seamless integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, IntegrationHub, and MID Server setup.

Platform Customization: Configure forms, workflows, approvals, notifications, dashboards, reports, and automated processes.

Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and provide dedicated production support. Participate in code reviews to ensure strict adherence to ServiceNow development standards.

Deployment \& Lifecycle Management: Support deployments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments using Update Sets. Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge articles.

Collaboration \& Continuous Improvement: Partner with architects, functional consultants, QA teams, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle while continuously enhancing platform performance and adopting new SPM capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

Experience \& Technical Skills

5\-7 years of overall IT experience with deep, hands\-on expertise in ServiceNow development.

Demonstrated experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow SPM modules (Demand Management, PPM, Resource Management, Agile Development, and Strategic Planning).

Strong scripting proficiency using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Proven experience developing and deploying REST and SOAP integrations.

Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, Update Sets, and standard deployment processes.

Familiarity with ITSM, CMDB, and working effectively within Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.

Education \& Certifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Preferred Certifications:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Certified Implementation Specialist \- Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS\-SPM) (Highly Preferred)
