Services Specialist\-Data Preparation and Reporting\-Automation \& Tools

• *The team**

GFS is continuing the rollout of finance services across the Deloitte Member Firm network. This role is part of the Reporting \& Analysis (“R\&A”). R\&A supports member firm clients with all aspects of management reporting and analysis. R\&A is made up of analytical, financial, and reporting experts that align reporting with the strategic priorities of our businesses, enabling areas/enterprise solutions and business leaders. The team is responsible for designing and driving the future of management reporting for all levels of firm leadership. With a focus on innovation, we continuously seek ways to enhance and optimize existing deliverables and create new reporting solutions. We are also uniquely positioned to identify and implement leading practices across clients. This management role sits on our Operations team, coordinating across teams to manage several shared services and processes and driving end\-to\-end solutions and analysis that provide our clients and leaders with the consumable information and insight they need to drive better business decisions and address challenges.**Work you’ll do as a Senior Analyst within GFS R\&A – Automation \& Tools**

Reporting \& Analysis

• Create/maintain **automated** complex financial reports and dashboards to meet internal client business needs
• Maintain deliverable documentation and continuous improvement
• Identify ways to extract data from different sources for various reporting and analysis purposes
• Independently carry out analysis, manage queries and communicate solutions to stakeholders

Service Delivery and Project Management

• **Keep up to date with current technology models to drive automation efforts and support team members with automation expertise**
• Provide exceptional client service by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability and integrity
• Maintain quality and accuracy standards for all assigned work
• Continually look for ways to improve reporting processes and enhance overall client experience
• Complete duties assigned from time to time
• Proactively participate in special projects assigned by leadership

People and Relationship Management

• Collaborate with a variety of teams to incorporate the most efficient methods for automation and process improvement.
• Successfully manage client relations and develop trust\-based relationships with our internal clients
• Identify learning opportunities and participate in training
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members
• Support a collaborative and innovative culture

• *Qualifications**

Education/Experience Requirements:* Post\-graduation or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related subject

• 4 – 6 years of experience in business planning and analysis/operations, preferably in MNC or global organization
• High performing individual with demonstrated problem\-solving skills and ability to work on complex reporting solutions
• Experience with report automation efforts
• Experience with Tableau or other BI analysis software (e.g., Power BI, Web Intelligence, etc.), SAP BOE, Power Automate, Python

Capability and Skills Requirements:* Ability to research and analyze data from internal and external sources

• Very good understanding of financial and reporting concepts and operations metrics/key performance indicators (KPIs) used by professional services firms
• Possess strong communication skills with proficiency in English, both oral and written, and ability to clearly articulate ideas and independently present concepts convincingly to a wide range of audiences
• Effective problem\-solving skills
• Self\-motivated, with strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently without continual supervision
• Ability to work within a virtual team in a dynamic, cross\-functional environment

Technology or Other Requirements:* Advanced level of expertise in MS Excel

• Proficient level of expertise in MS PowerPoint, with skills to create executive level presentations
• Ability to effectively use other commonly used software such as MS Word and MS Outlook in completion of work
• Knowledge of financial systems (HANA/AO, SAP) and ServiceNow is helpful
