Shopify Theme Developer (1–2 Years Experience)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated **Shopify Theme Developer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have **1–2 years of hands\-on experience in Shopify theme development**, with strong expertise in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify storefronts. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing, user\-friendly, responsive, and SEO\-optimized eCommerce websites.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain **Shopify themes** for client and internal eCommerce projects.
• Build custom Shopify storefront sections, templates, and theme features using **Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify theme architecture**.
• Work on **Shopify 2\.0 themes**, reusable sections, metafields, and app integrations.
• Customize existing Shopify themes based on business and design requirements.
• Ensure websites are **responsive, fast\-loading, and optimized for performance**.
• Optimize websites for speed through **image optimization, lazy loading, code minification, and performance best practices**.
• Implement **SEO\-friendly theme structures** and on\-page SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional Shopify storefronts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve theme\-related bugs, layout issues, and compatibility problems.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well\-documented code following development best practices.

Job Requirements

• **1–2 years of proven experience in Shopify theme development**.
• Strong knowledge of **Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development**.
• Experience in **custom Shopify theme development and theme customization**.
• Good understanding of **Shopify 2\.0 architecture, sections, templates, metafields, and app integrations**.
• Familiarity with **Shopify CLI, Git/version control**, and theme deployment workflows.
• Understanding of **website speed optimization and performance best practices**.
• Basic knowledge of **technical SEO and on\-page SEO implementation**.
• Ability to convert **Figma/PSD designs into responsive Shopify themes**.
• Strong debugging and problem\-solving skills.

Important Notes

• This is a **full\-time, on\-site position** based in Surat.
• Salary range: **₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month**, based on skills and experience.
