Site Engineer (Civil)

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Interior Engineering
• Additional certification in Project Management is an added advantage.

Job Summary

The Site Engineer – Interior is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all interior finishing works at the project site. The role ensures execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines while coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities1\. Site Execution

• Supervise all interior finishing works.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate daily activities with contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work completion as per schedule.
• Verify materials before installation.

3\. Coordination

• Coordinate with Civil, MEP, HVAC, Fire Fighting and ELV teams.
• Resolve site execution issues.
• Attend coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and clients.

4\. Quality Control

• Ensure work complies with approved quality standards.
• Conduct inspections before closing activities.
• Raise snag lists and monitor their closure.
• Verify mock\-ups and sample approvals.
• Maintain quality checklists.

5\. Planning \& Scheduling

• Prepare daily and weekly work plans.
• Monitor manpower productivity.
• Track project milestones.
• Report delays and recommend corrective actions.

6\. Material Management

• Verify material quantity and quality.
• Coordinate material delivery.
• Prevent material wastage.
• Maintain material consumption records.

7\. Documentation

• Daily Progress Report (DPR)
• Daily Activity Report (DAR)

8\. Safety

• Ensure PPE compliance.
• Follow all safety procedures.
