JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE ENGINEER

1\. Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate day\-to\-day construction activities at project sites, ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project timelines.

2\. Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision \& Execution

Supervise daily construction activities and ensure smooth site execution.

Monitor civil, structural and other construction\-related works.

Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and site workers.

Monitor daily site progress and report work status to the Chief Engineer and Project Manager.

Planning \& Coordination

Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery and other site requirements.

Prepare daily and weekly work progress reports.

Identify execution\-related issues and coordinate for timely resolution.

Ensure activities are completed within the planned project schedule.

Quality \& Safety

Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.

Ensure compliance with construction standards and specifications.

Implement site safety procedures and ensure workers follow safety guidelines.

Identify and report any quality or safety\-related concerns.

Documentation \& Reporting

Maintain daily site reports, labour attendance and material consumption records.

Verify material requirements and coordinate procurement.

Maintain measurement records and work completion details.

Assist in preparing BOQs, site measurements and project documentation.

Maintain records of site instructions and work progress.

3\. Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Relevant technical qualifications in construction or related engineering disciplines may also be considered.

4\. Experience

2–5 years of experience in construction site supervision and execution.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials and site management.

Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

5\. Technical Skills

Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation and measurements.

Understanding of construction materials and quality standards.

Basic knowledge of project planning and execution.

6\. Required Competencies

Strong site coordination and supervision skills.

Problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Ability to manage multiple site activities.

Willingness to travel to project locations as required.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Pay: From ₹30,000\.00 per month
