Site Reliability Engineer II (Platform Engineer)

• *Job Description**

Our SRE team builds tools that support our engineers to work faster, with less friction, and agentic AI is central to how we do it. As a Platform Engineer for Developer Experience \& Agentic AI, you'll build agentic solutions, integrate them into our internal developer platform, and take them from prototype to production. You'll own the full lifecycle and set the standard for how AI\-native engineering works at SIXT.

• *YOUR ROLE AT SIXT**

• You own and evolve our core developer tooling, including observability and CI/CD, so engineers can build, ship and run their products fast and securely
• You architect and operate agentic solutions that take on real work in developers' daily routines which include multiple steps, tool\-using systems that reason and act
• You embed agents into the internal developer platform, including the CI/CD and observability workflows
• You scale it all across SIXT so it works reliably for 800\+ engineers in different teams and technology stacks
• You work with developers to solve their real\-world challenges in their day\-to\-day work

• *YOUR SKILLS MATTER**

• **Education** You hold a B.Tech, B.E., or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
• **Experience** You have 4\-7 years of hands\-on experience as a Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer with recent experience working on agentic AI
• **Agentic AI** You have hands\-on experience building and deploying agentic AI systems: multi\-step agents with tool use, memory and autonomous decision\-making, going well beyond chatbots
• **Cloud\-Native Infrastructure** You bring solid experience with Kubernetes and cloud\-native infrastructure (AWS preferred), and with running AI workloads reliably at scale
• **Observability** You have hands\-on experience with observability tools
• **System Engineering** You demonstrate strong system engineering skills and experience building at scale
