• *Job Title**:Site Reliability Specialist

• *Location:** Hyderabad, India

• *Role Overview**

We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented **GSRE L1 Engineer** to join the Hawkeyes team. This role is responsible for supporting day\-to\-day site reliability operations, including cloud infrastructure maintenance, certificate management, deployment activities, and product support. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, security, and operational excellence across both GCP and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• **Cloud Operations \& Maintenance**

+ Perform patching and regular maintenance of servers hosted in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.

+ Monitor system health and proactively address infrastructure issues.

• **Certificate (CERT) Management**

+ Manage and update SSL/TLS certificates across environments.

+ Ensure compliance with security standards and prevent certificate expirations.

• **Deployment \& Release Support**

+ Execute code deployments across environments following established release processes.

+ Validate deployments and troubleshoot issues as needed.

• **Product \& Application Support**

+ Provide **L1 support** for production systems and applications.

+ Respond to incidents, perform initial triage, and escalate when necessary.

+ Assist in root cause identification and resolution.

• **Operational Excellence**

+ Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks.

+ Contribute to documentation, knowledge base updates, and process improvements.

+ Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including DevOps, engineering, and support teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP and/or Azure).
• Understanding of:

+ Server patching and maintenance

+ Networking fundamentals

+ SSL/TLS certificates and security concepts

• Familiarity with deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment (shift\-based if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands\-on experience with Linux/Windows server administration.
• Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or similar).
• Experience working in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or production support environment.
