SIte Store Assistant(Civil)

• *Key Responsibilities**

• **Material Receiving \& Inspection:** Assist in receiving, unloading, and checking incoming civil construction materials (e.g., cement, steel bars, aggregates, sand, pipes, bricks, tiles, shuttering materials) against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Challans.
• **Documentation \& Entry:** Help prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Notes (MIN), and update stock registers or digital inventory logs.
• **Storage \& Organization:** Arrange, stack, and label materials systematically in designated store or yard areas following safety and stacking norms.
• **Material Issuing:** Issue construction materials, small tools, consumables, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to site engineers, contractors, and workers based on approved requisitions.
• **Stock \& Inventory Control:** Assist the Store In\-Charge in daily or periodic physical stock verification, tallying counts against system records.
• **Damaged/Rejected Goods Tracking:** Identify expired, broken, damp, or non\-standard materials, segregate them, and report them immediately to the Store In\-Charge.
• **Housekeeping \& Safety:** Maintain cleanliness, organization (5S principles), and fire/safety compliance within the store and yard areas.
• **Inter\-Departmental Coordination:** Coordinate with site execution teams, purchase officers, and transport staff to ensure smooth material flow.

• *Required Qualifications \& Skills**

• **Education:** 10th / 12th pass, ITI, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering / Business / Inventory Management.
• **Experience:** 3 to 5 years of working experience in a civil construction site store or warehouse environment.
• **Technical \& Computer Skills:**
• Basic knowledge of civil construction materials and units of measurement.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and basic computer operations (ERP or Tally knowledge is a plus).
• **Core Competencies:**
• Physical stamina for loading, unloading, and site movement.
• Honesty, attention to detail, and good record\-keeping habits.
• Basic communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹28,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
