Snowflake Team Lead \| 6–9 Years

Role Objective
We are looking for a technical powerhouse to lead our Data Engineering team. You will be responsible for the end\-to\-end design, development, and optimization of our Snowflake Data Cloud environment, ensuring high performance, cost efficiency, and scalable data architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers to build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and scalable data warehouses.
Architecture \& Design: Design star/snowflake schemas and implement Snowflake\-specific features like Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Zero\-Copy Cloning.
Performance Tuning: Optimize query performance and manage virtual warehouse sizing to balance speed and credit consumption.
Advanced Data Handling: Expertly manage semi\-structured data (JSON, XML) using the VARIANT data type.
Governance \& Security: Implement Role\-Based Access Control (RBAC), data masking, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Automation: Orchestrate complex workflows using Python, SQL stored procedures, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
Requirements \& Qualifications
Experience: 6–9 years in Data Engineering, with at least 3\+ years of dedicated Snowflake expertise.
Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Advanced SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred).
Optimization: Proven track record of reducing Snowflake credit usage through efficient workload isolation and query profiling.
Leadership: Strong experience in code reviews, technical mentoring, and stakeholder management.
Education: B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or a related field.
Pay: ₹2,000,000\.00 \- ₹2,400,000\.00 per month
