Snowflake Developer

We are looking for two UI Engineers to build and improve a data\-intensive adoption

dashboard and its conversational analytics experience. The application runs in

Snowflake and combines interactive KPI dashboards with a chatbot that uses

Snowflake Cortex to answer questions over governed data.

You will turn product and user needs into clear, reliable interfaces; integrate

dashboard and chat experiences with Snowflake\-backed services; and improve

performance as data volumes and usage grow. The current application uses Python

and Streamlit, with React and ECharts for a custom chart component. Engineers will

work closely with product, data, analytics, and platform teams.

• *\#\# What you will do**

\- Build and maintain responsive dashboard interfaces, charts, filters, drill\-downs, and

data tables.

\- Develop conversational UI features, including chat history, streaming or progress

states, feedback, and error handling.

\- Integrate user\-facing features with Snowflake data and services, collaborating on

SQL and data contracts as needed.

\- Improve dashboard and chat responsiveness through efficient queries, caching,

pagination, and careful UI state management.

\- Make complex adoption metrics understandable through thoughtful information

design and consistent visualizations.

\- Write readable, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, documentation,

and delivery practices.

\- Diagnose UI, integration, and performance issues using logs, profiling, and query or

application measurements.

\- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver incremental

improvements to the product.

• *\#\# Required qualifications**

\- 5\+ years of professional frontend or UI engineering experience, or equivalent

demonstrated experience.

\- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills, with experience building

production user interfaces.

\- Experience with React or a comparable modern UI framework.

\- Experience building dashboards or other data\-heavy applications with interactive

charts, filters, and tables.

\- Strong SQL skills and practical experience integrating an application with a

relational or cloud data platform.

\- Demonstrated ability to find and address performance bottlenecks in interfaces and

data\-backed user flows.

\- Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, browser behavior, and usability

fundamentals.

\- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and

business teams.
