### **SOC Intern**

• Duration: \[3 Months]
• As a SOC Intern, you will work alongside our SOC analysts and gain practical exposure to security monitoring, alert analysis, incident investigation, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity operations.
• The role is designed for candidates who want to transition into a SOC Analyst career.

• Assist SOC analysts with monitoring security alerts.
• Perform basic alert validation and categorization.
• Assist with investigation of suspicious activities.
• Review security logs and identify unusual events.
• Support documentation of security incidents and investigations.
• Assist with maintaining SOC knowledge\-base articles and documentation.
• Participate in shift handovers and SOC operational activities.
• Assist with preparation of security reports.
• Research current cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Learn and follow SOC SOPs, playbooks, and investigation procedures.
• Support vulnerability scanning and basic vulnerability analysis when required.

### **Candidate Profile**

• Degree/Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking and operating systems.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
• Good analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Strong interest in Security Operations and Cybersecurity.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, if required.

### **Good to Have**

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows.
• Security\+ / SC\-900 / SC\-200 or equivalent training.
• Cybersecurity lab or CTF experience.
• Personal projects related to cybersecurity.
