Social Media Content Writer

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic **Social Media Content Writer** who is passionate about writing engaging social media content and developing fresh ideas for different brands. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills, a creative mindset, and an understanding of social media trends, audience behaviour, and brand communication. The candidate will be responsible for creating compelling captions, promotional copy, creative post content, and content ideas that help brands connect with their target audience and strengthen their online presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging and creative captions for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
• Develop content for social media posts, carousels, stories, reels, and promotional campaigns.
• Create catchy hooks, headlines, taglines, call\-to\-action (CTA) phrases, and brand messages.
• Generate fresh and trending content ideas based on audience interests, social media trends, and brand objectives.
• Write creative and promotional content for different brands across industries, including fashion, lifestyle, and other business sectors.
• Develop engaging content concepts for reels, interactive posts, audience engagement activities, and social media campaigns.
• Understand each brand's identity, target audience, tone of voice, and marketing objectives before developing content.
• Research trending topics, relevant hashtags, competitor content, and industry updates to improve content relevance.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, social media creators, and digital marketing teams to execute content ideas.
• Prepare and maintain social media content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting.
• Proofread and edit content to maintain grammatical accuracy, clarity, creativity, and brand consistency.
• Use AI writing tools and other digital resources to support brainstorming and improve content quality.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, content formats, and platform updates.

Requirements

• Excellent written communication and creative writing skills.
• Strong command of English; knowledge of Tamil is an added advantage.
• Ability to write catchy captions, creative copy, promotional messages, and engaging social media content.
• Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
• Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, hooks, and audience engagement techniques.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate original content ideas.
• Good research, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and content strategy.
• Familiarity with AI writing tools such as ChatGPT is an added advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with designers, video editors, and digital marketing professionals.
• Freshers with strong writing skills, creativity, and a passion for social media are welcome to apply.
