Rastogi Banarasi Silk House is a nearly 100\-year\-old heritage brand specialising in authentic Banarasi handwoven sarees, suits, dupattas and lehengas. With a rich legacy of craftsmanship, traditional artistry and luxury textiles, we are looking to strengthen our digital presence and take our brand story to a wider audience.

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and experienced Social Media Manager \& Content Creator who can take complete ownership of our social media content and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Content Strategy \& Planning

\- Develop a monthly social media content strategy and calendar.

\- Conceptualise creative content ideas, campaigns and storytelling formats.

\- Understand the brand's heritage, products, craftsmanship and target audience.

\- Plan content that strengthens brand positioning, engagement and reach.

2\. Video Shooting \& Content Creation

\- Independently shoot high\-quality videos and reels featuring our sarees, suits, dupattas and lehengas.

\- Create engaging product videos, styling videos, behind\-the\-scenes content and brand storytelling.

\- Shoot videos showcasing weaving techniques, craftsmanship, zari work, fabrics and product details.

\- Coordinate product shoots and create innovative visual concepts.

3\. Video Editing \& Post\-Production

\- Independently edit reels and videos for Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms.

\- Have a good understanding of transitions, colour correction, music, voiceovers, text overlays and storytelling.

\- Ensure professional\-quality output consistent with a premium luxury textile brand.

4\. Social Media Management

\- Manage the company's Instagram, Facebook and other relevant social media platforms.

\- Schedule and publish posts, reels, stories and other content.

\- Write engaging captions, select appropriate hashtags and optimise posting schedules.

\- Monitor engagement, reach, followers and overall content performance.

5\. Creative Campaigns \& Brand Building

\- Develop fresh ideas to promote our collections, new launches, festive ranges and wedding collections.

\- Create content that highlights the heritage and authenticity of Banarasi handloom.

\- Stay updated with social media trends and identify opportunities to incorporate relevant trends into the brand.

Candidate Requirements

\- Prior experience in social media management and content creation will be an advantage.

\- Must be proficient in video shooting and editing.

\- Should have hands\-on experience creating Instagram reels and engaging short\-form videos.

\- Knowledge of editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or equivalent.

\- Good creative sense, visual aesthetics and storytelling ability.

\- Ability to independently plan, shoot, edit and publish content.

\- Should be proactive, organised and capable of taking ownership of the complete content process.

Additional Preference

Candidates who have previously worked with saree brands, textile businesses, fashion labels, ethnic wear brands or luxury lifestyle brands will be given preference.

What We Are Looking For

We are not looking for someone who merely uploads posts or manages social media accounts.

We are looking for a creative individual who can understand our products, develop content ideas, operate a camera, shoot professional videos, edit them and strategically manage our social media presence from beginning to end.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete content creation process.
