Job Overview

IIFT Bhopal is looking for a creative, proactive and all\-rounder Social Media Manager who can independently manage the institute’s social media presence. The ideal candidate should be comfortable generating fresh ideas, shooting and editing reels, designing graphics and managing content from planning to publishing.

We need someone who can take initiative, analyze competitors and create engaging content without depending on a separate social media team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Independently shoot and edit reels, short videos and promotional content.
• Handle video shoots using a mobile phone or camera, including self\-shooting when required.
• Generate fresh creative ideas for reels, campaigns, student activities and institute promotions.
• Design attractive graphics, posters, stories and social media creatives.
• Manage captions, hashtags, content calendars, scheduling and regular posting.
• Analyze competitors and industry trends to identify new content opportunities.
• Monitor engagement, reach and content performance and suggest improvements.
• Maintain consistent branding and coordinate content around institute events and activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred; candidates with a strong portfolio and practical skills may also apply.
• Good video shooting and reels editing skills.
• Proficiency in Canva and video editing tools; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is an advantage.
• Strong creativity, visual sense and independent problem\-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Ability to plan content, meet deadlines and manage responsibilities independently.
• A portfolio of previous work is highly preferred.
