Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking for search engines.
- Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for website performance.
- Implement on\-page and off\-page SEO strategies to improve organic rankings.
- Build high\-quality backlinks through ethical link\-building techniques.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics.
- Collaborate with content writers to develop SEO\-friendly content.
- Work with developers to resolve technical SEO issues.
- Monitor website crawl errors, indexing status, and Core Web Vitals.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
- Relevant SEO certifications are an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of on\-page, off\-page, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency in keyword research and SEO strategy.
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare performance reports.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing SEO for e\-commerce, corporate, or service\-based websites.
- Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with local SEO, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
- Understanding of content marketing and digital marketing strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in organic website traffic.
- Improvement in keyword rankings.
- Increase in qualified leads from organic search.
- Growth in click\-through rate (CTR) and organic conversions.
- Number and quality of backlinks acquired.
- Website health score and technical SEO improvements.
- Organic revenue contribution (for e\-commerce businesses).
