Software Developer (WordPress)

We are looking for a skilled **Software Developer (WordPress)** with 2–5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in WordPress development, front\-end technologies, and PHP, along with a passion for creating high\-performance, user\-friendly websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Build responsive, mobile\-friendly, and SEO\-optimized websites.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional WordPress websites.
• Integrate third\-party APIs, payment gateways, and other web services.
• Optimize website performance, speed, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and website errors.
• Perform website updates, backups, and regular maintenance.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and project managers to deliver high\-quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and web development trends.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of hands\-on experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in custom theme and plugin development.
• Good understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Experience with WooCommerce customization is preferred.
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
• Understanding of website security, caching, and performance optimization.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Strong problem\-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in a fast\-paced development environment.
• Knowledge of Laravel, React.js, or other modern web technologies will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹60,000\.00 per month
