• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer with deep expertise in **Node.js and TypeScript** to build and scale high\-performance systems for a product\-based environment. The role involves working on core backend architecture, APIs, and scalable services.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using **Node.js and TypeScript**
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of applications
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams for end\-to\-end delivery
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions
• Proficiency in Node.js, and TypeScript, APIs, databases.
• Experience working with and building backend systems that have been used in the real world.
• Ability to navigate different stages of product development – from scrappy MVPs to scalable
• architectures.

• *Must\-Have Requirements**

• 3–6 years of backend development experience
• Strong hands\-on expertise in **Node.js**
• Strong proficiency in **TypeScript**
• Solid understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and system design basics
• Experience working in **product\-based companies** (mandatory)
• Good problem\-solving skills and understanding of data structures

• *Good to Have**

• Experience with **NestJS**
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• *Candidate Profile**

• Open to **relocation to Mumbai** if currently based elsewhere
• Preference for candidates who have worked across **multiple cities/locations**, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Comfortable with **5\-day work\-from\-office setup**
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in fast\-paced product environments

• *Additional Notes**

• Candidates who have spent their entire career in a single city without relocation exposure may not be ideal for this role
• Immediate or Seving to 60\-day notice period candidates preferred

Pay: ₹1,500,000\.00 \- ₹4,000,000\.00 per year
