AI\-Driven Development
- Use Claude and other AI tools as a primary interface for code generation, refactoring,
debugging, and test creation
- Apply AI\-DLC practices: prompt engineering, iterative refinement, validation loops, and
structured review
- Shift effort from manual coding to system design, constraints definition, and output
validation
- Continuously improve personal and team\-level AI workflows to increase delivery speed
and quality
Software Development \& Modernization
- Develop and maintain applications across C\#, ASP.NET (all versions), Angular, SQL
Server, and related technologies
- Work within large, existing codebases—making them more stable, observable, and
maintainable
- Identify and execute opportunities to reduce technical debt without disrupting business critical workflows
- Contribute to incremental modernization of legacy systems toward cloud\-native and
service\-oriented architectures
System Design \& Architecture
- Translate business requirements into scalable, cost\-efficient technical solutions
- Apply cloud\-first principles with attention to performance, cost optimization, and
deployability
- Design systems that are compatible with AI\-assisted development and future automation
Collaboration \& Delivery
- Partner closely with Product, QA, and Customer Success to deliver high\-impact features
- Participate in Agile ceremonies while helping evolve them toward faster, AI\-augmented
delivery cycles
- Support production systems and resolve issues impacting customer outcomes
Quality \& Ownership
- Validate AI\-generated code for correctness, edge cases, and long\-term maintainability
- Ensure strong test coverage (unit, integration, and automated regression)
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on system integrity—not just syntax
- Maintain accountability for production outcomes, not just code output
METRICS FOR SUCCESS (CORE EXPECTATIONS)
Delivery \& Velocity
- Deliver units of work at a \>90% zero\-shot success rate
- Consistently meet release commitments and timelines
- Demonstrate increasing throughput via effective AI leverage (not just effort)
Code Quality \& Reliability
- Maintain defect density below agreed threshold (\<5% post\-release defects)
- Ensure production stability with minimal regression from delivered changes
- Proactively identify and remediate fragile areas of the codebase
Testing \& Engineering Rigor
- Maintain \>80% unit test coverage on assigned modules
- Ensure meaningful integration and regression test coverage
- Use AI tools to accelerate test generation while validating correctness
AI Leverage \& Productivity
- Generate a majority (target 95%\+) of code using AI tools such as Claude and the AI\-PDLC
- Demonstrate effective prompt construction, iteration, and refinement
- Show measurable improvement in delivery speed and/or scope through AI usage
Legacy System Impact
- Reduce technical debt in meaningful, trackable ways (performance, maintainability,
observability)
- Improve reliability and clarity of existing systems without introducing risk
- Successfully deliver enhancements within complex legacy constraints
Collaboration \& Team Engagement
- Actively participate in \>90% of sprint ceremonies and cross\-functional discussions

REQUIRED SKILLS \& EXPERIENCE
AI\-Forward Engineering Mindset
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, etc.) for code generation and
development workflows
- Comfort generating a majority of code through AI and validating/refining outputs
- Ability to decompose problems into clear prompts and constraints
Technical Skills
- Strong fundamentals in C\#, .NET, SQL Server, and object\-oriented design
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and system integrations
- Familiarity with Angular (6\+) and modern frontend patterns
- Experience working in legacy systems and improving them incrementally
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git\-based workflows, and Agile delivery
Engineering Discipline
- Strong debugging and problem\-solving skills
- Ability to reason about complex systems and trace issues across layers
- Commitment to code quality, testing, and secure coding practices
Experience \& Education
- 5\+ years of experience in enterprise or SaaS software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

This is not a “greenfield\-only” role. A significant portion of the work involves understanding,
