• *Software Engineer – Hyderabad, India****Department: Asia Technology, Japan****Role Overview**

MetLife is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to its digital and AI transformation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud\-native software solutions while working in an Agile environment.**Key Responsibilities*** Develop applications using modern technologies (Front\-end, Back\-end, APIs, Databases).

• Implement best practices for cloud, AI/Data, and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive digital transformation.
• Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

• *Qualifications \& Skills*** **Education:** Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent
• **Experience:** 5\+ years in application software development, cloud\-native applications, and APIs
• **Tech Stack:** Java (Spring Boot), ReactJS, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Swift, React Native.
• **Languages:** Business proficiency in English; Japanese language is a plus.
• **Other Skills:** Strong problem\-solving, communication, and collaboration in a fast\-paced environment.
