• *About Role:**

· We are looking for a Computer Vision Data Engineer to support the development of AI\-powered traffic technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, managing and optimizing image and video datasets used for training and evaluating computer vision models.

· Working closely with AI Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, you will help build robust dataset engineering pipelines, improve data quality, identify dataset gaps and contribute to realistic synthetic data generation using both systematic techniques and generative AI.

· This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1\-3 years of experience in computer vision, machine learning data preparation, or image\-based AI applications who wants to develop expertise in large\-scale traffic and transportation AI systems.

• *Core Responsibilities:**

• *Dataset Preparation \& Management:**

· Prepare and maintain image and video datasets for training, validation and testing.

· Create automated workflows for dataset ingestion, transformation and quality assurance.

· Organise and manage large\-scale annotated datasets.

· Ensure datasets are balanced, representative and suitable for model development.

· Implement dataset versioning and traceability processes.

• *Data Quality \& Analytics:**

• Assess the quality and consistency of labelled data.
• Identify annotation issues, duplicates, missing labels and data quality concerns.
• Analyse dataset coverage and identify underrepresented scenarios.
• Produce reports and visualisations to support dataset improvement activities.

• *Synthetic Data Generation:**

• Identify gaps in real\-world data and propose solutions to address them.
• Generate synthetic imagery using procedural techniques, simulation tools and generative AI.
• Support the creation of realistic traffic and vehicle imagery across varying environmental conditions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of synthetic data in improving model performance.

• *Software Development:**

• Develop Python\-based tools and automation for dataset preparation and analysis.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of in\-house C\+\+ data annotation software.
• Build utilities to improve labelling efficiency and dataset quality.
• Support integration of datasets into machine learning training pipelines.

• *Support Activities:**

· Ensure the proper recording of all support activities.

· Ensure support processes are followed and documented.

· Keep knowledge bases updated.

· Flexible in working hours to cover support of UK based Operations.

• *Technical Skillset:**

· Experience with YOLO or similar object detection frameworks.

· Experience using CVAT, Label Studio or similar annotation platforms.

· Experience generating synthetic datasets.

· Experience with generative AI image models.

· Knowledge of traffic, transport or vehicle\-related applications.

· Experience with Azure cloud services.

· Familiarity with Docker and ML workflows.

· Understanding of model evaluation metrics such as Precision, Recall, IoU and mAP.

· Test planning, regression testing and defect/bug reporting.

Pay: ₹400,000\.00 \- ₹800,000\.00 per year
