We are seeking a Software Engineer II with strong problem\-solving skills and experience
working within established systems. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and
maintaining applications while contributing to ongoing improvements in performance,
reliability, and code quality.
The ideal candidate has hands\-on experience with PHP, is comfortable working within
existing codebases, and is eager to grow their ability to simplify complexity, improve
systems, and deliver high\-quality solutions.
- Problem Solving: Address technical challenges with effective and maintainablesolutions, ensuring reliable performance.
- Design and Development: Develop and maintain high\-quality PHP applications,following established patterns and best practices.
- Unit Testing: Write and maintain unit tests to support code quality and reliability.•
Legacy Code Maintenance: Contribute to refactoring and improving legacy code toenhance readability and maintainability.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, incorporating feedback and adhering tocoding standards.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for features, changes, and systembehavior.

- 3\+ years of professional experience in PHP development
- Proficiency in PHP and experience with modern PHP frameworks (preferablyLaravel)
- Solid grasp of front\-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to solve technical problems with practical and efficient solutions
- Experience working with existing codebases, including making improvements andfixes
- Understanding of unit testing principles and implementation
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem\-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote environment
- Detail\-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with guidance whenneeded
- Ability to work independently and drive work to completion

- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue preferred)
