Software Engineer

As a **Software Engineer**, you will join a dynamic, empowered engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and operating a suite of scalable cloud\-based microservices. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle — from designing APIs and implementing business logic to deploying services in Kubernetes clusters and ensuring high availability and performance in production. This role offers an opportunity to make a real impact on a cutting\-edge SaaS platform used globally.

### **What You'll Do**

• Collaborate in an agile environment to design, build, and maintain distributed microservices.
• Break down requirements, create detailed design documentation, estimate timelines, and implement solutions.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot multi\-layered, service\-oriented cloud applications using **Go**.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of APIs, deployment pipelines, and observability tools.
• Develop rapid prototypes and engage in pair programming or design reviews to ensure high\-quality outcomes.
• Optimize product quality, performance, and security.
• Leverage and learn modern cloud and DevOps tooling, including **Kubernetes**, **Docker**, **Terraform**, **Sumologic**, and **AWS** (various Amazon Web Services).
• Contribute to shared documentation and internal knowledge bases to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand use cases, gather feedback, and translate requirements into practical engineering solutions.

### **What You'll Bring**

• 5\+ years of experience developing scalable web or SaaS applications.
• Strong hands\-on experience in a functional or object\-oriented language (**Go**, **Java**, **C\#**, or similar).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and performance optimization.
• Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Familiarity with **Docker**, **Kubernetes**, and **Terraform** for cloud\-native deployment.
• Strong background in database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL, such as MongoDB).
• Bonus experience with **Goa**, **JavaScript**, and **AWS cloud services**.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive and ownership\-driven mindset.
