Software QA Engineer - Manual

Job Responsibilities  Perform comprehensive manual testing of web, mobile, and API\-based applications.  Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports.  Ensure complete testing coverage through functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.  Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand business requirements and technical implementations.  Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and provide testing updates or reports.  Identify repetitive test scenarios suitable for automation and support automation initiatives wherever applicable.  Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA and participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as stand\-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.  Ensure product releases are stable, reliable, and meet end\-user expectations across multiple platforms and environments. Required Skills \& Qualifications  2–4 years of hands\-on experience in Manual Testing of web and/or mobile application

Required Skills \& Qualifications  2–4 years of hands\-on experience in Manual Testing of web and/or mobile applications.  Strong understanding of Software Testing concepts, SDLC/STLC, and defect lifecycle.  Experience in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.  Good understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms.  Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working experience in Agile teams.  Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools.  Basic understanding of Git version control and CI/CD processes.  Strong analytical thinking, problem\-solving skills, and attention to detail.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client\-facing interactions. Good to Have  Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.  Basic scripting/programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.  Understanding of automation frameworks and test script maintenance.  ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or above).
