• *Job Summary**

Rotten Grapes Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail\-oriented **QA Engineer** with 1–2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of manual testing concepts and basic hands\-on experience in automation testing using JavaScript and Playwright.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of web applications by identifying defects, executing test cases, and collaborating with the development team.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Understand application requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects.
• Perform UI and cross\-browser testing of web applications.
• Develop and execute basic automated test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright.
• Perform basic API testing using Postman.
• Validate application data using basic SQL queries.
• Maintain test documentation and report testing progress.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve defects and improve application quality.

• *Required Skills and Qualifications**

• 1–2 years of experience in software testing.
• Good understanding of manual testing concepts and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Basic hands\-on knowledge of JavaScript and Playwright for automation testing.
• Experience in writing test cases, preparing test scenarios, and reporting bugs.
• Basic understanding of API testing using Postman.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, and GitHub.
• Good analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a development team.

• *Educational Qualification**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
