Avya Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail\-oriented QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in manual testing, automation testing, and AI\-assisted software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, test case design, automation frameworks, API testing, and defect management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive manual and automated testing, identifying and analyzing defects, investigating root causes, and using AI\-powered tools to improve testing efficiency, accuracy, and coverage. We are looking for a proactive professional with strong analytical and problem\-solving skills who can work closely with developers and cross\-functional teams to deliver reliable, high\-quality software applications.

##### **Responsibilities**

As a key member of our team, you will

• Perform end\-to\-end manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Prepare, review, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using suitable automation tools and frameworks.
• Use AI\-assisted testing tools to support test case generation, test data creation, automation script development, and test result analysis.
• Test web applications, APIs, and backend systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and consistency.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze complex requirements, identify potential risks, investigate defects, and perform root\-cause analysis.
• Evaluate test results, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to application quality and reliability.
• Conduct regression testing following bug fixes, new releases, and feature enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain clear documentation of test cases, execution reports, defects, and testing outcomes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes.
• Explore and adopt suitable automation and AI\-powered testing solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

###### **Must\-Have Skills**

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong hands\-on experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Practical experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Experience in test case preparation, test execution, defect reporting, and bug life cycle management.
• Understanding of AI\-assisted testing and the use of AI tools for test case generation, automation support, debugging, or test result analysis.
• Familiarity with test management and defect\-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to analyze requirements, identify potential risks, investigate defects, and determine root causes.
• Excellent logical reasoning and attention to detail to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Ability to evaluate test results, identify patterns, and recommend effective solutions to improve software quality.
• Strong troubleshooting and decision\-making skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

###### **Good\-to\-Have Skills**

• Hands\-on experience with AI\-powered testing platforms such as Testim, mabl, Applitools, or similar tools.
• Experience using ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or other AI assistants to support test case creation, test script development, and debugging.
• Experience testing AI\-powered applications, LLM\-based features, or AI integrations.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6\.
• Experience with database testing and SQL queries
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and version control systems.
• Experience with cross\-browser testing, responsive testing, and cloud\-based testing platforms.
