Software Test Engineer

We are now seeking a talented and passionate Software Tester (Black Box Testing) to join our team and help us ensure the flawless performance of our software products.

• *Job Description:**

As a Software Tester (Black Box Testing) at Cohezia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans, with a focus on black box testing methodologies. You will work closely with our team to identify issues, report defects, and verify fixes to deliver high\-quality software to our clients.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• Collaborate with developers, support and product teams to understand project requirements and design test scenarios
• Contribute to test strategy development and test plan creation
• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, cases and scripts to verify functionality and usability and to catch bugs early
• Develop test plans that cover database impacts, software scenarios, regression, negative testing, bug retests and usability
• Test browser and OS compatibility across web\-based applications
• Run regression testing to confirm that previously identified issues have been resolved, along with negative and usability testing to keep quality high
• Log, track and manage test cases and defects using tools like TestLink
• Work closely with developers to resolve reported defects
• Investigate customer\-reported issues escalated by support
• Flag deviations from standards and suggest fixes
• Communicate test results and progress reports to project stakeholders
• Contribute to the improvement of our testing processes and methodologies
• Leverage AI\-assisted testing tools like Claude, and automation frameworks like Selenium, to speed up test coverage and efficiency

• *Nice to have along with mandatory skills**

Any certification in testing would be an added advantage

• *Experience: 2 years**
