Software Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled **QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer** with strong experience in **Mobile Application Testing, Selenium, and Appium** to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in manual and automation testing, API validation, defect tracking, and ensuring high\-quality software releases in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform end\-to\-end Mobile Application Testing (Android/iOS), including functional, regression, compatibility, and usability testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using **Selenium WebDriver** and **Appium**.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Analyze application logs, device logs, ADB logs, and server logs for debugging and issue investigation.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand\-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
• Provide QA status updates, test reports, and release sign\-offs.

Must\-Have Skills

• **3 – 4 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.**
• Strong hands\-on experience with **Selenium WebDriver**.
• Strong hands\-on experience with **Appium** for Android and iOS testing.
• Solid experience in **Mobile Application Testing**.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with TestNG, Maven, REST Assured.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Exposure to automation framework development and maintenance.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem\-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast\-paced Agile environment.
