Software Test Engineer

• *Task and Responsibilities:**

The incumbent would be responsible for following

1\. Responsible for testing of project/product or features developed

2\. Responsible for executing test as per Test Plan/ Test Case

3\. Responsible for ensuring execution of test case

4\. Responsible for executing test as per Test Plan/ Test Case

5\. Responsible for closing defect after verification

6\. Responsible for conducting regression test

7\. Responsible for analyzing defect and closure

8\. Responsible for ensuring no defects are induced while fixing

• *Skill Required:**

\- The individual must have a graduation degree in B.Tech/ Bachelor

of Engg.

\- Minimum aggregate of First Class in X, XII and degree.

\- Experience in Manual testing, Testing life cycle, web based

\- applications testing, system testing, Regression testing, compatibility testing, Usability etc.

\- Must have knowledge in Design, review and execution of test

\- cases.

\- Must have knowledge in Defect reporting and tracking and

\- preparation of test reports.

\- Must have exposure to Java, Object Oriented concepts or other

\- scripting languages.

\- Knowledge on Database(SQL), exposure to E procurement is

\- Advantage

\- Knowledge on Security and Performance Testing and Test

\- automation Tool is added advantage

\- Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and analytical

\- skills.

• *Qualification required:**

• *Education****:** B.Tech/ Bachelor of Engg/ BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science.
