Software Tester

IMUII Technology is a Chennai\-based IT company building web, mobile and AI\-driven products for clients. Our team works across Java Spring Boot, Node.js, React JS, Android and iOS. We’re looking for a detail\-oriented Software Tester to make sure what we ship works well.

• *What You’ll Do**

• Test web applications (React JS) and mobile apps (Android \& iOS) for functionality, usability and performance
• Test backend APIs (Spring Boot, Node.js) using Postman or similar tools
• Write and maintain test plans, test cases and test scenarios from requirements
• Find, log and track bugs clearly in Jira (or similar), and verify fixes
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration and UAT testing
• Work closely with developers, UI/UX designers and project managers during each sprint
• Contribute to building automation test scripts over time

• *What We’re Looking For**

• \[1–3] years of experience in manual software testing
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and the bug life cycle
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications
• Hands\-on API testing with Postman
• Basic SQL to check data in databases
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Clear written communication for bug reports
• Sharp eye for detail and a habit of asking “what could break?”

• *Good to Have**

• Automation with Selenium, Appium, Cypress or Playwright
• Basic Java or JavaScript knowledge
• Performance testing (JMeter)
• ISTQB certification
