Software Tester Intern

• *About the Internship**

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester (QA) Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands\-on experience in software testing, quality assurance, bug reporting, and product validation. You will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our web and mobile applications deliver a high\-quality user experience.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Execute test cases and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Identify usability, functionality, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing documentation.
• Participate in feature validation before product releases.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Assist in smoke testing, sanity testing, and exploratory testing.
• Provide feedback to improve product quality and user experience.
• Learn and follow QA processes and best practices.

• *Requirements**

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools is a plus.

• *Preferred Skills**

• Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Basic understanding of automation testing is an added advantage.
