UST is looking for a **GenAI Architect \- Life Sciences** with deep expertise in **Generative AI, Agentic AI, Python, FASTAPI, AWS Cloud, and Software Architecture**. The ideal candidate will have **12\+ years of experience** designing and delivering large\-scale enterprise applications, with mandatory experience in the **Life Sciences domain**, including Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, or Digital Health solutions.

The role demands a hands\-on architect who can define solution strategy, drive architecture decisions, build cloud\-native AI applications, and lead delivery teams while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

• *The Opportunity:**

As a **GenAI Architect \- Life Sciences**, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and enterprise\-grade AI solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs), AI agents, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices. You will partner with cross\-functional teams to solve complex business problems across Life Sciences and Healthcare domains.

### **Key Roles \& Responsibilities**

#### **Architecture \& Design**

• Define and implement scalable, secure, and high\-performance architectures for GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Design APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using Python and FASTAPI.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for enterprise AI platforms.
• Design AI\-powered solutions for Life Sciences use cases including:

+ Clinical Research

+ Pharmacovigilance

+ Regulatory Affairs

+ Medical Affairs

+ Diagnostics \& Digital Health

+ Scientific Data Management

#### **Development \& Implementation**

• Develop AI\-driven applications and services using Python and modern frameworks.
• Build, integrate, and orchestrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI agents within enterprise ecosystems.
• Apply MLOps and DevOps practices for efficient deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI solutions.
• Develop GenAI\-powered capabilities such as:

+ Scientific literature summarization

+ Medical content generation

+ Document intelligence

+ Knowledge management

+ Workflow automation

#### **Cloud \& Infrastructure**

• Design and deploy cloud\-native AI applications using AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker, and related services.
• Optimize solutions for scalability, resiliency, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement enterprise security, governance, compliance, and observability frameworks.
• Ensure solutions comply with Life Sciences data privacy and regulatory requirements.

#### **Leadership \& Collaboration**

• Operate as a proactive individual contributor with ownership of architecture and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural governance across teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders, and Life Sciences SMEs.
• Drive innovation and adoption of emerging GenAI and Agentic AI technologies.

#### **Problem Solving \& Innovation**

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and architectural challenges.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation across AI platforms and products.

• *What You Need**

### **Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 12\+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Strong hands\-on expertise in Python development.
• Proven experience building production\-grade APIs and services using FASTAPI.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud platforms and cloud\-native architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing large\-scale distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI and Agentic AI, including:

+ LLMs

+ RAG Architectures

+ AI Agents

+ Prompt Engineering

+ Orchestration Frameworks

• Experience building enterprise applications with scalability, security, and reliability considerations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead teams while remaining hands\-on with architecture and development.

### **Mandatory Domain Experience**
