Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Python Developer with strong operational and SRE capabilities to join our engineering team The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing internal platform utilities while also contributing to production support and reliability engineering activities This role requires a good balance of software development cloud technologies automation and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain utilities and automation components within the m3opstools ecosystem

Develop scalable Pythonbased solutions to improve operational efficiency and platform management

Participate in the SRE operations team and support P1P2 incidents through scheduled oncall rotations

Automate recurring operational tasks and enhance system reliability through engineering solutions

Collaborate with platform development and operations teams to identify and implement improvements

Support release deployments performance optimization and troubleshooting activities

Leverage AIpowered tools and agents to improve operational productivity and automation

Required Skills

Strong programming experience in Python

Handson experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments

Experience with AWS services including Aurora DocumentDB CloudWatch Lambda Networking and related services

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as OpenSearch Prometheus Grafana and KPOW

Experience with CICD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub and Kubernetes

Exposure to AIAgentic AI technologies including LLMs Claude Bedrock and MCP

Understanding operational support processes incident management and production troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in automation and infrastructure tooling development

Knowledge of DevOps and SRE best practices

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Ability to work effectively in production environments with oncall responsibilities
