SQL Developer

• *Position: SQL Developer**
• *Location: Pune**
• *Experience: 8\-10 Yrs.**

• *Key Responsibilities:**

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and optimized SQL queries and database objects.

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and application support.

Develop and maintain Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and other database objects in PostgreSQL.

Analyze and optimize SQL query performance using appropriate indexing and query tuning techniques.

Perform database design, schema modifications, and data validation while ensuring data integrity.

Handle data migration, bulk data loading, and database import/export activities.

Import and validate data from Excel and CSV files into PostgreSQL databases.

Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver database solutions.

Ensure database performance, reliability, security, and data consistency.

Utilize AI tools effectively to generate, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, improving development productivity.

• *Mandatory Skills:**

8–10 years of hands\-on experience in SQL development.

Strong proficiency in SQL with a solid understanding of relational database concepts.

Hands\-on experience with PostgreSQL and pgAdmin.

Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries using

DDL (Data Definition Language)

DML (Data Manipulation Language)

Complex Joins

Subqueries

Window Functions

Aggregate Functions

Common Table Expressions (CTEs)

Views

Indexing

Strong understanding of query optimization and database performance tuning.

Hands\-on experience in procedural SQL development using Stored Procedures and Functions in PostgreSQL.

Experience in data migration, bulk data loading, and database import/export processes.

Hands\-on experience with Excel/CSV data ingestion into PostgreSQL tables.

Ability to use AI tools effectively for SQL query generation, optimization, and debugging.

• *Preferred Skills:**

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Exposure to ETL processes and data integration.

Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and maintenance.

Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• *Educational Qualification:**

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
