Sr. Accounts Officer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts \& Finance professional with **10–12 years of experience in the IT/Software Services industry** to manage and oversee the end\-to\-end Accounts \& Finance function of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise across all major accounting domains, including financial accounting, taxation, payroll, audits, compliance, budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow management, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and all other statutory compliances, ensuring timely filings and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, full \& final settlements, and related statutory obligations.
• Coordinate and lead statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, budgets, forecasts, and management reports for leadership review.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, fund utilization, and overall financial health of the organization.
• Oversee vendor management, payment processing, customer billing, collection follow\-ups, and receivable management.
• Handle client invoicing, revenue recognition, project accounting, and profitability analysis for IT projects and services.
• Support domestic and international transactions, financial documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish financial controls, improve accounting processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with management on financial planning, business strategy, and decision\-making.
• Lead and mentor the Accounts \& Finance team to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

• **10–12 years of relevant experience, with mandatory exposure to the IT/Software Services industry.**
• Strong hands\-on experience across Financial Accounting, Taxation, Payroll, Audits, Budgeting, MIS Reporting, Cash Flow Management, and Statutory Compliance.
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience handling end\-to\-end finance and accounts operations independently.
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, ERP systems, and Advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent.
