An effective Senior Analyst – Vendor Management (Digital Technology) requires a strong blend of technical acumen, vendor governance expertise, and strategic stakeholder management. The role demands a solid understanding of Digital Technology services, including hardware, software, cloud, networks, telecom, and professional services, along with knowledge of outsourcing models and contract management practices.
The Senior Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting vendor performance data, stakeholder feedback, and risk indicators to provide actionable insights. This includes owning structured reporting, enabling executive\-level visibility, and supporting data\-driven decision\-making across vendor performance, relationships, and operational risk.
The role ensures vendors consistently meet defined service levels, contractual obligations, and operational expectations by leveraging performance metrics, governance frameworks, and standardized reporting. It also drives comprehensive supplier evaluation by consolidating cross\-functional inputs, maintaining alignment with organizational priorities, and ensuring adherence to budget and performance targets.

Build and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, procurement, and suppliers. Maintain transparent and proactive communication to ensure alignment on priorities and performance outcomes. Address performance issues with a solution\-oriented approach, driving corrective actions in partnership with business owners and suppliers. Support contract governance by ensuring alignment between contractual obligations and operational performance. Lead structured stakeholder feedback mechanisms (e.g., balanced scorecards, performance reviews, testimonials) to measure supplier effectiveness.
Lead and facilitate structured governance forums including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), ensuring clear distinction between tactical execution and strategic alignment. Drive disciplined performance discussions by leveraging data, highlighting key risks and trends, and holding suppliers accountable for outcomes. Enable effective decision\-making by aligning stakeholders on remediation plans, performance improvements, and long\-term strategic objectives, while ensuring all actions, risks, and decisions are tracked and closed through a standardized governance framework.
Analyze supplier performance, operational metrics, and risk indicators to generate actionable insights. Develop and maintain standardized dashboards and reports that provide visibility into performance trends, SLA adherence, and risk exposure. Translate data into clear, decision\-oriented insights and present recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision\-making.
Identify and drive opportunities to enhance Vendor management processes, governance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement best practices, improve service delivery consistency, and optimize overall vendor performance. Embed a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the supplier ecosystem.
Demonstrate the ability to deliver concise, structured, and outcome\-driven communication tailored for executive audiences. Present performance insights, risks, and strategic recommendations with a clear focus on business impact (cost, risk, service quality). Prioritize key issues upfront, followed by actionable recommendations and defined next steps, enabling leadership to make timely, informed decisions and drive alignment.
