• *About the Role**

We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)** to architect and build scalable backend systems that power our AI\-driven products. You'll play a key role in designing robust APIs, developing high\-performance microservices, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

As part of our engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to work on multiple AI products, contribute to technical decisions, and build solutions that reach users quickly.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build secure, high\-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize complex queries.
• Integrate third\-party services, AI models, and external APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long\-term solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5\+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6\+) and TypeScript.
• Hands\-on experience with Express.js and/or NestJS.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event\-driven architecture.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Hands\-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth 2\.0\).
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.

• *Nice to Have**

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Exposure to GraphQL or gRPC.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations or LLM\-based applications.
• Understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or the ELK Stack.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems.
