Sr. Design Engineer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and detail\-oriented **design engineer** to support the design and development of products and components in our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, quality, and R\&D teams to create innovative, efficient, and manufacturable designs that meet industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for parts, assemblies, and tooling using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Collaborate with production and process teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost\-effective.
• Interpret customer specifications, standards, and requirements to develop accurate design solutions.
• Perform design validation, tolerance stack\-up analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including bills of materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and revision history.
• Support prototyping, testing, and pilot production activities.
• Participate in cross\-functional meetings to address product development and process improvement.

**Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field.
• Proven experience (**2 to 5\+ years**) in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, sheet metal fabrication).
• Good understanding of GD\&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• *Qualification**

• **BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field**

• *Experience**

• **2– 7 years** of experience in design engineering or product design.
