Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results\-driven Sales Executive to promote and sell plywood, laminates, MDF, particle boards, and related wood panel products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, architects, interior designers, and builders, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through dealer networks, distributors, builders, architects, and institutional clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
- Promote company products and educate customers on product features, specifications, and applications.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and outstanding dues from customers.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Prepare sales reports, market intelligence reports, and customer feedback reports.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional activities when required.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- 2–5 years of sales experience in plywood, laminates, building materials, hardware, furniture fittings, or related industries.
- Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply for junior positions.
Skills \& Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent relationship\-building and customer management abilities.
- Good knowledge of the plywood, laminate, and building materials market.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
