Job Summary

CGI is looking for an experienced SDx / SPF Configuration Specialist with 8\+ years of experience in SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) and SmartPlant Enterprise Data Warehouse (SDx) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SDx administration, configuration, document management, workflow design, Web Client customization, and REST API integrations.

The candidate will be responsible for configuring and administering SDx modules, managing engineering data and document workflows, supporting asset\-related EDW solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with third\-party applications.

Roles \& Responsibilities

Administer and configure SDx / SPF\-SDV modules, including Schema Object Administration, System Administration, and Schema Editor.

Manage system administration activities involving Forms, Methods, Conditions, Security, Columnsets, and Change Management Administration.

Configure SDx suite modules, including Smart Data Validator (Data Validator), SmartPlant Fusion (Data Capture Administration), and SmartPlant Markup.

Configure and support SDx Web Client functionalities and perform Web Client extensibility activities.

Manage Document Management, Transmittals, Workflows, Vault Management, and Vault Replication.

Develop and configure REST API URLs to enable integration with third\-party applications.

Design and implement workflows based on business use cases for Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions deployed for assets.

Understand business requirements and translate them into effective SDx configurations and workflow solutions.

Independently plan, prioritize, and execute short\-term assignments while managing multiple activities.

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective delivery of SDx solutions

• *Required qualifications to be successful in this role**

Mandatory Skills \& Technical Expertise

8\+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands\-on experience in SDx / SPF.

Strong working knowledge of SDx or SPF\-SDV modules.

Expertise in Schema Object Administration, System Administration, and Schema Editor.

Hands\-on experience with Forms, Methods, Conditions, Security, Columnsets, and Change Management Administration.

Experience configuring SDx suite modules such as Smart Data Validator, SmartPlant Fusion, and SmartPlant Markup.

Strong experience in SDx Web Client configuration and functionalities.

Knowledge of Web Client extensibility.

Expertise in Document Management, Transmittals, Workflows, and Vault Management, including replication.

Experience developing REST API URLs for third\-party application integrations.

Ability to design workflows for asset\-based EDW solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage short\-term assignments effectively.

Preferred Skills \& Domain Knowledge

Good understanding of Engineering Data Warehousing (EDW) and Document Management concepts.

Understanding of discipline engineering and capital projects within the Oil \& Gas industry.

Knowledge of Reference Data Library (RDL) standards.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in complex, multi\-stakeholder environments.
