Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, and modern cloud\-native development practices. This role combines enterprise software engineering with emerging Agentic AI capabilities to build scalable, intelligent solutions that improve developer productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance supply chain technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Engineer high\-scale solutions using Java 17\+, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Microservices, Kafka, and NoSQL technologies.
- Design and implement AI Agents to automate repetitive development tasks, including auto\-generating boilerplate code, mapping complex DTOs, and managing script maintenance for evolving APIs.
- Ensure 100% unit testing coverage using JUnit and Mockito by leveraging LLMs to generate edge\-case test scenarios and test data for complex supply chain workflows.
- Propose multiple technical solutions and evaluate how Agentic AI workflows can improve long\-term system maintainability compared to traditional hard\-coded approaches.
- Lead research initiatives and proof of concepts involving LangChain or Semantic Kernel to enable natural language querying of inventory and order data.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with Pune and global onsite teams.
- Solve technical problems using cutting\-edge technologies and industry best practices.
- Ensure code meets required development standards and is optimized for performance.
- Participate in peer code reviews using Git pull requests.
- Ensure all aspects of technical design are correctly incorporated.
Qualifications
- 6\+ years of experience in Java/J2EE design and development with a strong focus on Spring Cloud and Microservices.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools.
- Understanding of building autonomous agents to handle routine coding and development tasks.
- Proficiency in React development.
- Strong SQL experience using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with NoSQL databases including Cassandra.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with code quality and static analysis tools such as SonarQube and Checkstyle.
- Experience driving automation initiatives to reduce scripting and maintenance effort.
- Good communication skills.
