Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain **complete inventory records** of materials received, issued, and balance stock at site/store.
• Handle **material inward and outward entries** and maintain stock registers and reports.
• Verify materials received from vendors according to **Purchase Order (PO), delivery challan, and quantity specifications**.
• Issue materials to site teams and contractors based on **site requirements and approved requests**.
• Maintain proper **GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, and stock documentation**.
• Track **material consumption and wastage** during project execution.
• Maintain proper **labelling, stacking, and safe storage of materials**.
• Coordinate with **purchase team, project managers, and site supervisors** for material requirements.
• Conduct **periodic inventory checks and stock audits**.
• Ensure timely availability of materials at site to avoid work delays.
• Maintain records of **tools, equipment, and machinery issued to workers**.
• Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to management immediately.

Knowledge of Materials (Important)

Candidate should have knowledge of materials used in **interior turnkey projects**, such as:

• **Plywood, MDF, Particle Board**
• **Laminates, Veneers, Edge Bands**
• **Hardware fittings and accessories**
• **Gypsum boards and ceiling materials**
• **Electrical items (wires, switches, conduits, panels)**
• **HVAC materials**
• **Fire fighting materials**
• **Networking and data cabling materials**
• **Plumbing and sanitary fittings**
• **Adhesives, screws, and fixing accessories**

Requirements \& Skills

• Minimum **3–6 years experience as Storekeeper in interior fit\-out or construction projects**.
• Knowledge of **inventory management and material handling**.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / inventory records).
• Ability to maintain accurate **stock reports and documentation**.
• Good coordination with **site engineers, supervisors, and vendors**.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping.
