Switchgear Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Switchgear Design Engineer with 1–2 years of hands\-on experience in LV switchgear design, panel engineering, and related control systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, familiarity with industry standards, and the ability to deliver accurate design documentation within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop LV Switchgear, MCC, PLC, and Control Panel designs based on project specifications.
• Prepare SLDs, GA drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, BOM, and panel layout drawings.
• Select switchgear components (MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, meters, protection devices, etc.).
• Review client specifications, tender documents, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and QA to ensure design compliance.
• Support engineering team during FAT, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC standards and relevant industry norms.
• Handle design revisions, documentation control, and project reporting.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in LV switchgear or control panel design.
• Strong knowledge of IEC standards, protection coordination, and panel design practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), EPLAN (optional), and MS Office.
• Good understanding of electrical components and protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem\-solving skills.

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
