Position Title

Tax Analyst – US Taxation

Location : Begumpet HYD

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and analytical Tax Analyst with hands\-on experience in US taxation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and supporting federal and state tax compliance, tax reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory filings while ensuring adherence to US tax laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review US federal, state, and local tax returns.

Support direct and indirect tax compliance activities.

Analyze financial data for tax reporting purposes.

Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.

Work on sales \& use tax, corporate tax, and withholding tax processes.

Perform tax account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.

Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal finance teams.

Research US tax regulations and assess impact on business operations.

Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments.

Support tax audits and respond to notices from tax authorities.

Maintain compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.

Prepare reports using Excel, ERP systems, and tax software tools.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of US Taxation concepts.

Knowledge of

Federal \& State Taxes

Corporate Tax

Sales \& Use Tax

Tax Provision

Withholding Tax

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.

Familiarity with tax tools/software (OneSource, Vertex, Avalara, etc.).

Good analytical and problem\-solving skills.

Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

1–5 years of experience in US Taxation.

Experience working with multinational companies or shared services environments is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in US corporate tax compliance.

Experience handling tax audits and reconciliations.

Ability to work with cross\-functional global teams.
