- *Team Lead – Bench Sales**
Job Summary
The Team Lead – Bench Sales is responsible for managing a team of Bench Sales Recruiters, marketing consultants on the bench, generating client/vendor relationships, and ensuring successful placements in the US staffing market. The role involves team leadership, performance management, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Bench Sales Recruiters.
- Assign daily targets and monitor team performance.
- Conduct training sessions on marketing strategies, portals, and compliance requirements.
- Track recruiter productivity and placement metrics
Bench Sales \& Marketing
- Market bench consultants across technologies such as Java, .NET, SAP, Salesforce, Data Engineering, Cloud, etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with implementation partners, vendors, and direct clients.
- Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients and vendors.
- Ensure consultants are actively submitted to suitable requirements.
Client \& Vendor Management
- Develop new business relationships with staffing vendors and clients.
- Maintain a database of active vendors and requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, and onboarding activities.
- Resolve client and consultant\-related issues promptly.
Reporting \& Performance Tracking
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Monitor submission\-to\-interview and interview\-to\-placement ratios.
- Analyze market trends and recommend improvements to bench marketing strategies.
- Ensure achievement of placement and revenue targets.
Required Skills
- 2\+ years of experience in US IT Staffing/Bench Sales.
- 1–3\+ years of experience leading a Bench Sales team.
- Strong understanding of US staffing processes, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099\), and visa types.
- Experience with job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship\-management skills.
- Strong leadership and team\-management abilities.
