This Position reports to

Accounting \& Reporting Manager \- General **Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting activities for the assigned area (e.g., reporting, consolidation, etc.) within the General Accounting (GA) team. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing, reviewing, and/or supporting the month\-end close process including account reconciliation, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet review, etc.

This role is contributing to the Finance Function in Bengaluru.

You will be mainly accountable for

• Overseeing the preparation of financial statements in the appropriate format to include in timely filings with regulatory agencies.
• Leading Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance for specific areas (e.g., record\- to\-report, order\-to\-cash, etc.) to ensure that processes and controls are designed effectively and to address financial reporting.
• Performing analysis of accounts and highlighting any discrepancies/anomalies for correction and serving as an escalation point or subject matter expert for the resolution of accounting transactions and reporting questions.
• Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.

• *Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)**

• Minimum 10 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
• Must have the experience in handling a team
• Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R)
• Working knowledge in MS office (SAP Knowledge is preferred)
• Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions
• Co\-ordinating with Internal and External Auditors
