JAS is an international, non\-asset\-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
The Corporate Tender Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing the country’s Tender Management team, and oversees the end\-to\-end RFQ process, including evaluation, pricing, bid analysis, and post\-evaluation. Ensures timely and competitive tender submissions while providing sales support by aligning tender strategies with customer requirements and business objectives to drive growth.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
- Lead the Tender Management and Sales Support functions.
- Prepare rates and organize company information for Global \& Key Account Customers’ RFI and RFP requests.
- Clarification of bid conditions and management of the tender preparation.
- Coordination of tender reviews, adjust them to the frameworks given by the customers and manage deadlines.
- Coordinate bid submission and analyse data for stakeholders’ review.
- Prepare and share monthly tender dashboard and report with key stakeholders.
- Maintain and update pricing database, as well as provide pricing analysis.
- Maintain and update internal intranet with frequently asked questions obtained within a customer’s RFI.
- Monthly meetings with product to set goals / strategy (e.g. trade lane, carrier, etc.)
- Lead employees to meet the organizations expectations for productivity, quality and goals.
- Develop team members to create a pool of employees ready and willing to take on new challenges and step up when needed.
- Note \- The selected candidate should be provided with all system accesses, permissions, and tools currently assigned to and utilized by the incumbent employee, Juned Alam, to effectively perform the responsibilities of the role.
- *SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- The incumbent will lead a team of pricing and internal sales analysts.
- *QUALIFICATIONS:**
- Strong time\-management and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time
- Self\-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills are mandatory
- Highly energetic, assertive, self\-starter with positive, confident personality and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in corporate productivity tools including Microsoft Office required
- CRM system (customer relationship management) experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment to achieve results, or independently with self\-direction
- *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
- High school diploma or GED is required
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience required
- Minimum of 2 years management experience required
- *ENVIRONMENT:**
Work is performed in climate\-controlled office environment. Travel will be (up to 10%) required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds*.*
